한탄강을 노래한 두 작품

한탄강을 주제로 한 시 두 편이 전해진다.

 

이민구(李敏求, 1589~1670)의 작품 이민구는 그의 시집 『동주집(東州集)』에서 「용호산12영(龍護山十二詠)」을 노래했으며, 그중 「체천(砌川)」이 포함되어 있다.

 

백리장은애(百里壯垠崖): 백 리나 되는 장엄한 절벽

군류만학위(群流萬壑委): 여러 물줄기가 만 골짜기로 굽이친다

분파여회담(奔波與洄潭): 세찬 물결과 맴도는 웅덩이

상하교룡기(上下蛟龍氣): 오르내리는 교룡의 기운이 서린다

 

이현석(李玄錫, 1647~1703)의 작품 이현석은 이민구의 「용호산12영」에 화운(和韻)하여 「차룡호산십이영(次龍護山十二詠)」을 창작했다. 그중 「체천(砌川)」에 해당하는 내용은 다음과 같다.

 

영구은하추(靈區隱遐陬): 신령한 곳이 먼 곳에 숨어 있다

유사기인위(有似畸人委): 기인이 버려진 것과 같다

소이학선려(所以學仙侶): 신선이 되려는 사람들은

선요원속기(先要遠俗氣): 먼저 세속의 기운을 멀리해야 한다
